Pplware Consultório – Explain your doubts here

We have the following topics for questions asked by our visitors at the Pplware office this week:

This office aims to clarify the main concerns raised by Pplware readers and visitors to us, on all platforms, locations and addresses where we have already represented.

The questions are chosen in such a way that as many topics as possible are included and the ones that we find most relevant and interesting are presented.

The answers presented reflect our understanding and are intended to present possible solutions. However, we trust our readers to complement, enrich or even contrast, so that they are as rich and complete as possible.

To continue this section, we selected some more questions received in the official email of Pplware Consultório.

Which of these 2 HP laptops would you recommend me to buy?

Hello. Thanks again for your work.

I am undecided on the choice between the two PCs. HP Pavilion Aero Laptop 13-be0000np and HP Pavilion Aero Laptop 13-be1000np.

I want to know which is better, what and the difference in price between them is justified.

Thank you very much.

Luis Soares da Costa

In fact, the models are very similar, but one after the other was released, so the latest (13-be1000np) includes a slight improvement: it replaces the AMD Ryzen 7 5825U CPU instead of the AMD Ryzen 7 5800U. The 5825U has a base clock speed of 2.0GHz (vs. 1.9GHz) and apparently has a CPU that gets a little hotter than the previous one, although the architecture and all the construction details are the same (I would say this is questionable information, only test can confirm).

There is another difference between the models, which is the Windows version: the older ones have Windows 10 Home, the newer ones already have Windows 11 Home… but upgrades from 10 to 11 are free. There are places that also mention a bit more autonomy for the latest model, but I couldn't confirm this information from the manufacturer or the battery capacity, so it could also be misinformation.

In short, even if I don't know the price difference from where you saw it, considering the differences between the models, I wouldn't pay more than € 30 for the most recent price.

Which SSD do you recommend for my PS5?

Good night

I want to ask you a question,

I bought a PlayStation 5 console and in the future I want to upgrade the internal SSD storage and I want to know what advice you can give me?

Because I'm investigating and the SSD must have many of the features that Sony has mentioned. Some SSDs have their own heatsink but I don't know if it's mandatory, so I'm asking you this question.

All I need is an SSD with a capacity of 2TB or more.

Thank you so much for your attention,

Hope you can help me with this question

Yours sincerely,

Samuel Machado

Sony is really clear on this SSD expansion drive situation. Everything is described on the pt-pt page, not only in terms of features but also in terms of assembly:

Basically a drive with M.2 socket is required, which has the possibility of different sizes (lengths), especially 2230, 2242, 2260, 2280 and 22110. It must have NVMe technology and it must be PCIe Gen4x4. Heatsinks already included are recommended, as models that do not have heatsinks have stickers on their chips, so disassembly is not as efficient.

I do not recommend any specific model or brand, but models like WD_BLACK SN850, Samsung 980 PRO or even Crucial P5 Plus would be great options.

Can I buy a PC without an operating system?

Good luck to all and congratulations to the Pplware team for their good work and dedication.

I ask for help with the following question:

Currently, it is common and frequent to find for sale computers running Windows 10 or Windows 11 with Microsoft operating system installed.

Since this operating system is being paid, I ask if the buyer has the right to ask the store to sell only part of the hardware and therefore no charge will be levied for the operating system.

If they have this right, I ask how to proceed in the store.

If they do not, and they are forced to buy a computer with Windows, I ask why buyers cancel the warranty by wiping the disk and installing something else there (for example, Free DOS, a NAS server, ESXI hypervisor, A. Linux distribution, Windows XP, 7 or 8, etc.)

Thank you.

Good luck

Nuno Duarte

At one point, about 10 years ago, there were some successful cases for refund of OEM licensing fees, based on Microsoft's non-acceptance of EULA terms. However, changes have been made in this aspect (on Microsoft's part) and it is no longer legally possible.

As for changing your computer's operating system, yes, you can do so without affecting the warranty. This is software, and in any case, if disk space isn't really a problem, my recommendation is that you keep the recovery partitions and boot partitions intact, not to secure the warranty but to protect against the possibility of wanting to use it. Windows again, and then all the drivers and everything can be difficult to install properly because it comes from the manufacturer.

Also keep in mind that this computer may be useful to someone else or you may decide to sell it.

Can I trust more updates on Huawei P10 lite?

Hello Pplware,

How do I get Huawei P10 lite update support?

Mateus Torres

Unfortunately, this Huawei smartphone has already received all the official updates offered by the brand. Note that this smartphone is already a few years old and so the brand has already discontinued.

Therefore, there will be no support for updates for your Huawei P10 lite. You will need to use the current version of EMIU in the future.

What's wrong with my wifi card? And how do I fix it?

WiFi network disappears, like not having a WiFi card, ... In network troubleshooting, he says he can't find the problem.

Resolution means network reset, ... I don't restart PC, nothing changes, ... what can I do ??

Thank you

Nuno Nunes

Probably a factor as to why they're doing so poorly. One of them is more complicated to solve and the other is a little easier.

We also leave a question here that you have to confirm with anyone who manages the network. Are you trying to find out if this network is only advertised on 5Ghz and the card is limited to 2.4Ghz?

Most of the time, there is a problem with the WiFi card drivers, which makes the card not work properly.

We recommend that you check the chipset on the card and find the right drivers. You can also access the manufacturer's website and try to find the drivers you need.
